6 months ago i face a terrible breakup from this guy i have been with on and off for 2 years. throughout the 2 years with him it has always been filled with quarrels and distrust. what more can i add to this heartache. finally 6 months ago on 17 May 2008, i made the decision to end it. Those who know me well can remember how much i cried over it. Throughout these 6 months, there were many times i still think of the guy. Sometimes i wish he will change his character. He is someone i never fail to pray for on a daily basis. Each day i plead with my Lord that his character will be transform by God. I admitted the truth to joel yesterday during our shepherding that i really hope to see the guy redeemed so i pray for the person. But joel told me this:

"do you know prayer actually makes you closer to the person?"

ok. its not that i am not going to continue to pray for the person but i don't think i am going to pray for him on a daily basis anymore. although i still commit him to my Lord and i really hope there will be this day that the guy will know my God.

6 months have gone by and as 2008 comes to an end i also want this chapter with the guy to come to an end. Finally today i took the courage to throw away 2 things that was given to me by the guy so that i will no longer have any memory of him. Bye thomas..

today someone told me this which i felt was like whahhaa -> words of wisdom:

its exactly 1 month away from Christmas which also means 2008 is coming to an end and 2009 is approaching. Don't want to talk so much on the upcoming 2009. This is about my Christmas wishlist right..let me name a few:


1) I am in need of a privacy screen for my laptop in the office. So vouchers from Challenger are welcome. no need to be alot. $5 is fine. $10 is fine.

2) Vouchers yes..vouchers which have long expiry dates. I usually shop @ Isetan or Centrepoint. (if you get the hint)

3) Perfumes. nono i don't mean those big bottle one..miniature ones are fine. easy for travelling and after my gym. Please note: i like those with sweet scents. If don't know the smell, go on the more popular brands. That should be fine.

4) beauty products. ok i don't need super expensive things like christian dior, chanel or YSL. simple nail polish from face shop are sufficient. no lip gloss please. i still have 3 unopen lip gloss @ home.

5) food , beverages - yes.. tea is much appreciated no lipton tea. give me something like dilmah blackcurrant or some fruit tea. if you are more generous, can include brown sugar as a package as well. food - biscuits would do good. marks and spencer chocolate chip :)

A few weeks ago, my shepherd says that i am someone very hard to understand (or something along that line) its hard to know what i am thinking inside but easier to know me socially. Many people don't have a real/true impression of who i really am. In fact these few weeks i have been thinking what are the things people don't know about me? Perhaps socially or beyond that, so maybe i should share it with you all. Everything is in random order not in place of any importance.




3) i need to eat oats every morning (monday-friday). pick up this habit about 2 years ago and please don't see oats as something boring . They are rich in vitamins and fibre and mostly importantly because its so rich in fibre it helps to clear the "system" on a daily basis. Brand of oats i eat-> Quaker

this morning while on the way to work and listening to class 95 i got to know today its -> World Toilet Day. The DJs were talking about the most disgusting toilets found in singapore and the best toilet. Apparently, Fullerton came out as the best toilet and most MRTs and coffee shops turned out to be the worst. let me share with you all some of the best toilets i have come across--> There you go

busy is not the work to describe my life recently. maybe i can use the word -> meaningful. After putting down the burden of missing mr chew my life has been doing well. It has been a good 6 months since we broke up and i am glad he is forgotten now. Life has been good recently. Packed with meaningful activities and loads of leisure time for myself. Work @ my new company has been pretty smooth sailing as well. What can i say but my life is blessed.. What are the meaningful activities i have been engaged in recently?

1) Exercising-> aiyo.realised i put on alot of weight and i decided to do something about it. instead of just eating less fattening food i am now engaged in a exercise regime. Been swimming 2 times weekly, once a week i hit the gym and run. Yes of coz i have dance lessons once a week as well and anyone knows i do 500 hula hoops on a daily basis. :)

2) TV -> Currently in my free time i am watching this HK tvb show 珠光宝气. still only @ Ep 11. Very slow this show has a total of 80 episodes and currently still showing in HK. I love HK shows but it must be in cantonese.


3) Photos -> yes i have been playing with my photos recently..having fun with this Photo Funia. Interested? Go to http://www.photofunia.com/ look @ the beautiful photos that are created. nice?

its been 2 weeks since my late grandpa passed away. many stories till now.stories like my grandpa came back. evidence was like the shape of his head on the bed, the chopsticks prepared for him moved, the chairs moved without a reason, the cake got his teeth mark etc... well my dad and my grandma and relatives who are non christians say these. but what pissed me off was-> my mum being a christian agrees with it. i told her as a christian, you should believe that he is either eternally in heaven/hell and not wandering about and coming back every other day. then then i told my mum this:

A baby learning to swim!! the place is called a "baby spa" so cute right?

Then while walking, we saw this shop. The shop will speak for itself what it sells inside-->

notice what is the title today-> it reads MY GOD IS AMAZING. yes indeed my GOD is and i must say this is my GOD. i believe He can be yours as well. why do i say my God is amazing? i have 1 breakthrough this week. well yes, it may be 1 only but don't belittle just 1 breakthrough because with 1 breakthrough there are going to lots coming. So so, what is the breakthrough for the week?

as many know i broke up with my ex bf about 6 months ago. just a few weeks back i was still like pondering about what and missing him. But during these 6 months i have been praying and asking God to help me overcome this area in my life. (in fact i know this is a strong hold in my life). Day after day, i ask God to help me break this strong hold else i can't progress further. Then yesterday i woke up with a strange, funny, weird feeling. Usually i wake up in the morning feeling miserable due to the fact that i still can't get over with the break up. But yesterday the feeling was gone. It was very distinct. The feeling was that i woke up not missing him. Strange but well as i said my God is amazing lo.

Another thing to share is that yesterday we had CG @ Alvin & Sophie house. If some people know i don't like to enter the MSCP because the hump is so high i will tend to scratch my car under carriage. As i reach their place, no parking lots in sight under neath their flat. I messaged Joel "No parking leh" then while i was about to turn in to the MSCP..behold...i saw this car "blink blink" whahahaha i faster turn and speed to the spot and put my hazard lights! PTL i got a parking lot right beneath their block. :)

its been like 1 week plus at my new work place. Sorry this time round i won't reveal where i am. But its a listed co and somewhere near my house. The first week has been fruitful. But then everyone is busy with their closing so nobody really has time to entertain my numerous questions. So.. it leaves me fiddling around with Hyperion and Yardi (the accounting system) used. Well not difficult to use (for someone so smart like me :p). Well this new place is much better. The office is very new and as compared to my old company, we have a first class pantry :). In fact the company has like 5 pantries and 1 breakout area. Drinks are plentiful in the company with a range of biscuits to choose from. To be exact its 15 type of biscuits with drinks ranging from teh tarik, cappucino, cafe mocha and milo etc.

almost a week has passed. since work started and since many things has happened over the past few days. yes i am still tired. drained is the word i use. went back to work with droopy eyes yet to recover from the past few days. my beloved yeye was creamated 2 days ago. dad and brother and some of my aunties and uncles went to pick the ashes today. yeye death brought many thoughts into me. fond memories of my late yeye. remembering times of how my brother and i visit them weekly when we were young and yeye would sit in front of the tv @ the telok blangah flat watching tv and smoking. how he eats wanton mee and also when we visit him and call him he will always cry. yes i miss my yeye but i know he has moved on to a place. an eternal home. a place with only joy no more tears, no more sickness & rejoicing with our dear Father in heaven.
