before we entered the banquet. David looked so sober but at the end he was way off.
we have about 4 glasses of red wine.
David...all these are waiting for you. Round 1
and another 4 white. some white, red and beer. all waiting for him to come back to us after his round of photoshoot. At the very end, David came back and left his gigantic glass on our table unknowingly. Of coz he was not spared and we took it out and while shaking our hands we made him drink everything. :p. In fact we asked for so much liquour that the waitress gave us the "lady gaga" look and brought us the whole bottle instead of giving us glasses.mr gary wanted to "chup" into our photo and of coz we allowed him to. Our poor camera man was adam. sorry no photos here.
I told sileas, let's 自拍. 1 of my 战友 when we were in Shenzhen doing the most "er xin" job back in 2008.
how can i miss jovy out? yes this is jovy. The thing i most 欣赏 about her and the thing which I feel we are so similar is the 2 of us are both gusty.
See the crowd? Its my 2nd time to this place and finding a parking space was like "ARGH!". Ended up doing illegal parking. I was telling the other people "if TP come today to catch illegal parking. Sure very good." But fortunately, they didn't come. hohoho
needless to say..you know which kite belongs to me.
Obviously, I wasn't the one flying it. But see my kitty high up in the sky! Joel's mermaid kite also flew. and the hello kitty kite continued flying for another 15 mins... The view of Marina Bay Sands. I have a "love affair" with it. Looking @ Marina Sands always made me wonder if the decision to have not gone to Macau 1.5 years back was a wrong decision. Should I have stayed in Singapore, hoping for some things to happened yet till today nothing happened? But the focus of the picture was not Marina Sands..it was...this below My kite flew away and landed on a tree. The area was prohibited so I couldn't retrieve my kite! BOOO!!!!!!!! After my kite flew away just about 15-20 mins of being in the sky, I sat around and took pictures of interesting kites that I saw "proudly" flying high up there. The penguin kite caught my eye! Joel's mermaid kite was just as "useless". I told her "mermaid belongs to the water. not the sky lah." It just refuses to fly! Jeremy and Adrian tried their best. But...it didn't work. In fact, we had 3 kites that day. The cheapest being the guys one which was bought at only about S$5. AND...it flew the longest and highest. The focus of this picture is really Marina Bay Sands itself. It was my dream 1.5 years back but due to some things, I gave this dream up which many times now I really do wonder, was it worth it? call me a mountain tortise, but I have never been on this flyer before! We caught this poor toddler. His parents were busy kite flying and left him all alone in the pram.We finally left Marina Barrage at around 630-7 when the skies were turning dark and it started to drizzle a little...and soon after the Good Friday. Back to work, it was nothing but BUSY! For the whole of April, I left office like @ 10pm everyday. And was totally drained...
Just last Sat (17 april), I decided that I didn't want to go back office. Then at night, together with Shireen & James, we met up a couple which we used to outreach to in the past - Cindy & Thomas. Cindy is happily pregnant and Thomas is also in a stable job as a taxi driver. But I realised that their lives are still pretty much the same...We had some camera whoring session and this is the only picture i took.
Shireen, Myself and Cindy. Taken with my Iphone. Btw, yes I got myself an Iphone and its "with compliments" from Ascendas. Bought it using my benefits. :)))))Then on Sunday (18 April), lunch was another feast. It was my Da-Sao birthday and also we pre-celebrated my mum's bday (24 April). Brother and I treated Da-Sao, Mum and Dad to Imperial Treasure (Cantonese Cuisine) at Great World City. We wanted to try somewhere different from the usual places we went and we were glad they all enjoyed it.
The going to be married couple in 2 weeks time. (from the time I am writing this blog entry).
and we celebrated my Da-Sao birthday at home. She received 2 Ang pows from her "future dad and mum in law"each.

As April is about to come to an end. My workload starts to lessen after submitting all the conso packs and proofs to the auditor. Yipee!! Before I end, anyone remembered in the beginning of the year, Macdonalds had a collection of the Doraemon toys for the 12 animals of the chinese calendar. I collected some. And anyone remembered the controversy of "not having the pig". And eventually Macdonalds came up with the pig just last week. Finally...I managed to get the pig with the help of my colleague's hubby. :))) yay!
you've guess it right. This is my work station with lots of toys hanging about. Easily identifiable :))) but it brightens up the office as well. signing off :)
