came across this fact file of hello kitty while i was doing my hair @ the salon today:
1) Perhaps the biggest misconception about this world-famous icon is that she's a cat. She's in fact a girl - albeit one who's forever young- who lives with her family in London.
2) Hello Kitty was born in 1974 and is a Scorpio. But she still looks fabulously youthful, thanks to excellent genes.
3) Her celeb fans include Cameron Diaz, Diddy, Mirah Carey, Dakota Fanning, Linsay Lohan, Kelly Osbourne, Sarah Jessica Parker, Britney Spears and Steven Tyler.
4) In 2004, near England's Stonehenge, Hip New York art collective surface to air created a crop circle in the shape of Hello Kitty's face so it be visible to aircraft travelling to and from London's Heathrow Airport.
5) She collects small, cute objects like ribbons, hair accessories, candy, stars, goldfish etc.
6) She has a boyfriend named Dear Daniel and a twin sister, Mimmy, who wears a yellow bow on the right side of her head. (Hello Kitty wears a red bow on the left).
7) She is as "tall as five apples" and "weights three apples".
8) Hello Kitty's official hobbies include traveling, listening to music, reading, eating yummy cookies her sister Mimmy bakes, and most of all, making new friends.
