its been almost 1 year since the break up that changed my life completely. i vaguely remember a year ago i was crying my heart out. as if i lost the most important thing in my life. but now that i looked back i am so glad it all happened. i am so glad that we have broken off and i've never regretted my decision since then.
in this 1 year many things came to light. truths about a person's character, behaviour etc. But the most significant thing is that my faith has gone stronger. obedience for God has gone a stage deeper. walking with God has become closer. I am looking forward to an ever more exciting life ahead in the many more years to come.

Event of the month - Ling Li & Mum's birthday

The past few weeks have been nothing but 1 word - busy. The effect on me to put it simply was -> burn out! i've been real busy and as such temper have been getting quite bad lately. yes i must admit i've gotten more impatient and don't really feel like talking much. Everyday its leaving office at least by 11pm and by the time i get home to wash up and rest its about 1am. But the busy weeks have been compensated by a weekend which i really felt i wanted to rest. No work involved. Just yesterday, it started off with me going shopping. I desperately need some retail therapy. Didn't spend much only bought a top from Isetan. Then afternoon went for a massage @ Spa elements. The massage was good and relieved me of the aches and pains. 1 word -> SHIOK!
After all the hurried dinners for the past 3 weeks in office. A unhurried meal was required. Yesterday was my "future" da sao's birthday and we (brother, his friends and me) celebrated for her. Dinner was @ Akashi at Vivo. The meal was good. I had salmon teriyaki set meal and of course -> Tuna Sashimi. I love sashimi! How can a japanese meal go without sashimi??? Thanks to my brother who treated all of us and after the delicious meal, the group adjourned to Hagen Dazs.
There was a long queue forming outside Hagen Dazs. Can you imagine people are saying economy is bad? Still so many people eating fondue? I guess people are spending their retrenchment benefits? haha. :) Some pics from yesterday's dinner.
My self confessed handsome brother and friend-> Damien & Kevin

Of course how can i not be in the photos -> Me & Ling Li

That's us! Yanling, Ling Li, Me, Yue Li, Kevin, Brother and Eugene
Then today is my Queen's birthday. The Queen is turning 57 this year. We were joking that in 3 years time, she can change her EzLink Card to the senior citizen one. The Queen treated us to one of her favourite eating places - Xin Cuisine @ Holiday Inn. We love dim sum!
