grandma's 80th bday

yeah! after struggling with 2 months of no public holidays, there's finally a public holiday and it's national day. Singapore turned 44 this year and the good thing is-> its a long weekend! phew! i'm so thankful for long weekend because it just takes the monday blues away. looking @ my calender, the next public holiday is in september and I am so going to Beijing! So looking forward to it. Well, Singapore turn 44 this year and my grandma is turning 80 this year. As you know, for the chinese 80 is something very important. The chinese will always say this -> 80 大寿 and well my grandma have her celebration. It was just a family dinner. Not the type you see on HK shows whereby they book a banquet and celebrate. We just have an extended family dinner at Boon Lay Raja Restaurant @ Jurong East. Ok as usual, the pictures will do the talking.. let's start!

i'll start off with Junya & Me. This boy is getting kinda of sleepy by the time i went to him for a photo. Grandma is the star of the night, but apparently it seems like Junya became a co-star as well.

And of couse, My future da-sao, Ling Li & brother with junya. Junya looks kinda of shocked!

These are all the grand children, great grandchild & spouse. There were too many cameras flashing that no one knows where to look

i think this is one of the best family picture that i have.

I love shark's fin.sorry for those who aren't advocates of it. and of course i start snapping it.

How can a 80 大寿, don't have 寿桃?

Oh well, there were many dishes as well. but by the time i got to the shark's fin i was too lazy to continue taking. hiaks hiaks. :)
