恭喜恭喜! Happy Chinese New Year! Right now, we welcome the year of the Tiger as we send Brother Ox away. I am so excited about this year because I foresee lots of happenings. 1 for sure is my upcoming Bangkok trip in March where I will go Shopping! Another exciting thing coming up in May is my Brother's wedding! Yipee! I hope for a nephew soon :p. Well my future sis in law was just telling me earlier on this year it's said that your 桃花运 will be very good. I was laughing because that was funny. As I welcome the year of the tiger, I am also so excited and happy to say this-> the renovation and the mess that I've been living with for the past 3 months is over! Yay! The contractors finally got everything up and I am so proud to showcase my new stuff besides the new wardrobe, study table and tv console. I have these additional things added to my room. Its like having a whole new room altogether. After years of pleading, my mum finally relented and allowed me to paint 1 side of my wall a different color and here you go..its Purple and I am so loving it!

the dreamy purple wall and my bed has shifted position as well

The mirror costs a shocking $300. My mum chose it for me when we went shopping @ IMM. She paid for it as well.

My 32' inch tv not mounted up on to the wall as yet.

After receiving all these stuff for my room for Chinese New Year and going shopping for CNY clothing. I was reflecting how blessed I am. As a child of God and as my mum's daughter. Giving me a complete new room and of coz even the shared toilet with my brother is also renovated to the point that we have a super huge mirror, basin and even a rain shower. I must say this renovation spending is extravagant! So today, I was invited by a friend to help volunteer for bring joy to some old folks. The profile of these old folks is that some are single and have nobody to have reunion dinner with. So as volunteers, we prepare food and decorate the place to bring the atmosphere of Chinese New Year to them. I am so glad I went. It was a different way to spend the morning of the eve of Chinese New Year. Something which I felt was much more meaningful. :)

Some of the elderly arrived early

Old folks who contributed to building our country.

Lo Hei! Many of them were very excited to eat this. 心想事成!
