Just last Sunday, the sermon preached in my church was on the topic of "friendship". I remembered that Hong Teck mentioned this in his sharing that "he wanted to do a test and see if he really have friends or are the people hanging out with him just because they need not and not they want to." Well, while he was sharing this I also had this similar feeling. It takes alot of courage to do this sort of test because the result may turn out to be disappointing. (its a test not for the faint hearted) But I wanted to try it and because my birthday is so near to what was shared, this year, I decided to just keep a low profile and hope people that are close to me will remember. (keeps my finger crossed).

And well...a long time friend did!! In fact, she's the 1st friend I got to know when I stepped into the land of Aussie dated me out today. (someone who has seen the best and worst side of me :p and yet can accept me for who I am). Its a joy because she never forgets my birthday and she knows what I love-> Ice Cream. The best thing is-> she recently moved back down to the Bukit Timah area and so..it makes meeting up much easier! Yipee!!! We met up at the Island Creamery which is at Serene Centre and ate what we both enjoyed most-> Ice Cream with Mud Pie!
