Earlier on, I was reading some news on asiaone and came across this article on " Best undergrad degress by salary." After looking at the article (not even an article lah), its just pictures that depicts the 10 college majors that that leads to high salaries. I am amazing stunned that finance professionals are not included in the top 10 except for 1 and I am even more amazed that my engineering friends tell me that they are not earning much. err..and how engineering students so much want to join the finance sector and 跟我们这些 finance students 抢饭碗.. for those who didn't manage to catch the article..the following are the "best 10 college majors" (results from an Amercian payscale report):

1) Aerospace engineering (this i believe coz my friends who did this are making it big time)

2) Chemical engineering (i believe in this as well coz a close friend of mine did this course in uni and he's in a mining company in aussie and he's highly uncontactable. replies your mails once in a blue moon)

3) Computer engineering

4) Electrical engineering (are you sure? then why my brother quit?)

5) Economics (this I do believe also coz my cousin ended up a trader)

6) Physics (???)

7) Mechanical engineering

8) Computer science

9) Industrial engineering

10) Environmental engineering (i think this is quite true with all the Go Green movement)
