New place - Old Friends

The time has come for some of the people in my department to switch places after the portfolio of some of our managers being reshuffled wef this new financial year. When we finally shifted places last friday, I volunteered to take this "hot seat" which is just right outside my CFO's room. The seat is "hot seat" because nobody wants to be seated there. But after I screened through the few allocated seats around my new managers, I realised that this is actually the best place. Heard of this saying - "最危险的地方就是最安全
的地方？" which means the most dangerous place is the safest place..and there you have it->

Besides shifting seats in my company and attending Jay Chou Concert over the weekend..my run at my ex company had a gathering. Really appreciate Sileas for always making the effort to arrange for the meetup. This time round, instead of having steamboat at Sileas place, we moved to a new venue-> The Wine Company @ Evans Road. I've always loved this place for its ambience. Some of us had drinks and of coz..how can we give dessert a miss-> there you go..but too bad, the ice cream is kind of melted by the time they served us :(((
