Updates from Mega Flea 2 (17 - 18 Jul 2010)

I'm back from my first experience participating in a mega flea! It was a great experience but a real tiring one. 2 days trying to sell off our goods and I'm thankful that i wasn't left with much. The 2 days was well spent knowing Kelly & Liyi on a deeper level and of course making some profit from the sale of our "loot". Thanks to those who contributed their stuff and special thanks to Andrew who came down to visit me and ended up helping us dismantling our rack :p. It was an experience that reminded me of the Youth for Cause which we did in our church 2 years ago. (I can't imagine I am actually doing such a thing on my own when I ban anyone from my caregroup from organising it.)

Of course, throughout the 2 days, the 4 girls discovered a "niche" market - Auntie clothing!! And let me show you all some pictures of our stall-->

This stall was diagonally opp us and the lady was selling beauty products and she does mask for her customers on the spot.

Anna and Kelly. Anna is our best sales person coz she thinks of the strategy to off load all our goods.

Kelly and Vincent. Vincent was the man helping us to carry our stuff and entertaining us while we had no customers.

This was Day 2. Did I tell you initially each stall only had 2 tables and 2 chairs. But we ended up with 4 tables and thus created a L shape for ourselves? Don't ask me how we did it. We ended up with a super big space and the stall opposite us was laughing. We call it "expansion" plans

Anna's Doraemon bag acts as the "divider" between the cheap clothes and the more expensive ones.

These are our 3 for $10 on Day 1. Then became 4 for $10 and subsequently to clear off it became 5 for $10! Lelong Lelong!

The most unforgettable experience is of course getting new contacts. For those people who always have problem getting mask or just want the mask from 我的美丽日记 (the popular brand from Taiwan), I've added a link from a blogshop owner who sells it.
